PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Giljotin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roque Barretto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giljotin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ticon - Miss 11 PM (DJ CHILLER REMIX 2011) . Barretto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Last Man Standing - By 4ft Fingers. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, David Giljotin!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Roque Barretto!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barretto misses with a low kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Barretto.
Giljotin shoots in and drives through. Barretto sprawls well.

Barretto rushes Giljotin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Giljotin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Barretto after a bit of a struggle.
Barretto lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Barretto prevents a takedown attempt there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Giljotin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barretto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Giljotin has his foot on Barretto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barretto works his way back into a safe position though.
