Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Fuller looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Fuller! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank Tank! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuller pushes Tank up against the ropes in a clinch. Fuller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fuller has closed the distance and engaged Tank in a clinch.
Fuller lands a hook to the side of the head. Tank tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fuller lands a body punch in the clinch. A short right from Fuller. Fuller digs a right hand underneath Tank's ribcage. Tank let out a lung full of air as it connected. Tank is working for takedown but Fuller is calmly controlling the position for now. Fuller lands on the inside with an uppercut. Tank is fighting off a takedown attempt but Fuller is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tank to the mat. Tank regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Fuller wants to pass the guard but Tank is keeping the position. Fuller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tank's head. Tank working for a triangle but Fuller defends it easily.
Fuller preventing the sweep. Fuller throws a big right hand that misses. Tank tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fuller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Tank is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuller wants to pass the guard but Tank is keeping the position. Fuller throws a big right hand that misses. Fuller throwing strikes from guard but Tank blocks nicely. Tank wants to sweep here but Fuller controlling him for the moment.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fuller throws a combination. Tank tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Fuller takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tank fails with a takedown attempt. John Fuller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hank Tank. Tank looks gassed! Fuller on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Fuller takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tank has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Fuller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fuller misses with a few strikes there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tank fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Tank closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fuller circles away. Fuller darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fuller prevents Tank from standing back up.
Tank wants to control but Fuller is keeping busy and won't allow it. Tank is looking for a sweep. Fuller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tank makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tank. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tank bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fuller's guard. Tank gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Fuller fails with the takedown. Fuller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tank shoots in for a takedown but Fuller shows good takedown defense. Tank gets caught flat footed, as Fuller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fuller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tank's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuller postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Fuller scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tank is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fuller is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Fuller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Tank isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fuller stacks Tank on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fuller! Tank manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Fuller moves into full guard.

Fuller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Fuller connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Tank wants to control but Fuller is having none of it. Tank is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Fuller breaks from Tank's wrist control and lands an elbow. Tank bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Tank preventing the sweep. Tank trying to control the position from guard on top but Fuller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fuller working a defensive guard here.
Fuller looking for a sweep. Not yet Fuller, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Fuller dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Tank shoots and misses and Fuller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tank's guard now. Fuller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tank is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Fuller trying to control but Tank is working from the bottom. Tank keeping busy on the bottom but Fuller has passed one foot through into half guard.
Fuller is keen to just control but Tank is a slippery customer. Fuller scoring with strikes to the body and head. Tank wants to improve his position but Fuller is controlling well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fuller is looking to take a break and control but Tank is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fuller not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuller tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tank knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fuller thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tank's head. Tank is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fuller pulls his head out easily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fuller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tank! Tank is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Fuller unloading with bombs! Fuller connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Tank is rocked! Fuller working the ground and pound effectively.
Tank is still in real trouble! Can Fuller finish him? Fuller cracks Tank with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Fuller! John Fuller retains his lightweight title!
