Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jaakko Kilpinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johua Nashigon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nashigon has chosen Live my life as his entrance music. Jaakko Kilpinen could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johua Nashigon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Kilpinen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johua Nashigon! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nashigon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kilpinen is pushing Nashigon's head away, looking to escape. Nashigon manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nashigon working away. Kilpinen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kilpinen is looking to improve his position.
Kilpinen is trying to stand.
Nashigon trying to control from half guard but Kilpinen is working away. Kilpinen trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Nashigon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Kilpinen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Nashigon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kilpinen is looking to escape.

Kilpinen wants to control but Nashigon is having none of it. Kilpinen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Nashigon looking to control and managing it successfully. Kilpinen tries to hold on but Nashigon pushes him away. Nashigon scoring with strikes but Kilpinen is staying in there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kilpinen tries to hold on but Nashigon pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilpinen is looking to improve his position but Nashigon isn't that keen on the idea. Kilpinen wants to hold on but Nashigon pushes him away. Kilpinen working to try and regain half guard.
Kilpinen tries to hold on but Nashigon postures up. Nashigon looking to secure an arm triangle but Kilpinen defends it well. Kilpinen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nashigon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kilpinen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilpinen wants to hold on but Nashigon pushes him away. Kilpinen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilpinen regains half guard. Kilpinen tries to get to full guard but Nashigon has control of the leg. Kilpinen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nashigon is looking to take a break and control but Kilpinen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kilpinen wants to get back to full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kilpinen is looking to escape. Kilpinen is looking to improve his position.
Nashigon controlling the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jaakko Kilpinen will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Nashigon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kilpinen's corner calls for a 1-2. Kilpinen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kilpinen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nashigon on the side of the head. Nashigon fails in his attempt to clinch. Kilpinen fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kilpinen throws a series of strikes that have Nashigon backpedaling.
Nashigon shoots in and drives through. Kilpinen sprawls well. Nashigon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kilpinen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nashigon somewhat. Kilpinen tries to clinch up but Nashigon circles away and keeps his distance. Kilpinen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nashigon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kilpinen lands a glancing blow to the side of Nashigon's head. Nashigon takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kilpinen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nashigon.
Nashigon is rocked! Jaakko Kilpinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nashigon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kilpinen is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Nashigon is breathing heavily. Kilpinen with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Kilpinen with a knee to the head.
Kilpinen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kilpinen lands with a shot to the body. Kilpinen moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Nashigon goes down! Can Kilpinen finish him!? Nashigon is still in real trouble! Can Kilpinen finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kilpinen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kilpinen postures up in Nashigon's guard and throws a big left but Nashigon blocks it. Nashigon seems to have recovered his senses. Kilpinen forces his way into half guard. Kilpinen works his way into full mount! Kilpinen looking to finish with strikes here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilpinen is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Nashigon is forced to tap! Great finish!
