Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ryan Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Kint! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kint misses the jab. Kint throws a looping overhand right but Carter ducks down to avoid it. Carter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Carter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kint.
Kint tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carter was well out of range. Poor timing from Kint. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kint, as that shot connected.
Kint defending well as Carter loads up on a big left hand. Kint darts in and clinches Carter up against the cage. Kint misses with a hook to the ribs.
Carter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kint blocks an uppercut.
Carter wants to get back to striking at distance but Kint won't allow it.
Carter is trying to break the clinch but Kint has him pressed against the cage. Kint pushes Carter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A short right from Carter on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Kint. A short uppercut from Kint. Kint wants to break free but Carter has control.
Carter blocks an uppercut.
Carter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kint backwards. Kint swings wildly with an uppercut but Carter uses good head movement to avoid it. Kint pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Carter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kint was well out of range. Poor timing from Carter. Carter throws a big shot that misses. Kint bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kint trying to control the position but Carter is working away. Kint passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Carter! Carter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kint on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kint seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Carter is holding on tight.
Kint wants to control the pace but Carter is squirming around nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! You get the feeling that Carter really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kint looking to control but Carter is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kint is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Carter is in real trouble.

Carter wants to get back to his feet. Kint is trying to stick to Carter's back but Carter is turning into Kint. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kint's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kint has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Carter is looking to defend but Kint has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Carter! Kint pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Carter taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Roger Kint! After winning the bout, Roger Kint thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
