Vekkiotsamo throws a lazy uppercut
and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vekkiotsamo thinking.
Vekkiotsamo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.
Jones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Vekkiotsamo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones lands with an overhand left.
Jones does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Vekkiotsamo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
Vekkiotsamo misses with a wild body shot.
Vekkiotsamo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Vekkiotsamo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones slips a jab from Vekkiotsamo.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vekkiotsamo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Vekkiotsamo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Vekkiotsamo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Vekkiotsamo is breathing heavily.
Vekkiotsamo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Vekkiotsamo saw that one coming.
Jones throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Jones scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Vekkiotsamo misses with the body kick
and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Vekkiotsamo is rocked!
Jones circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Vekkiotsamo tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Jones wins by KO!
