Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Yvel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Allen's choice of entrance music: On In Five - BoySetsFire. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Ruben Yvel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Allen! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen throws an overhand right that lands on Yvel's shoulder, as Yvel tries to avoid the shot. Yvel swings and misses with a shot to the body and Allen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Ruben Yvel has been cut. Dave Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yvel instigates a clinch. Allen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Yvel stalling.
Yvel unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Allen tries to pull guard but Yvel won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Allen letting Yvel take a breather here. Yvel landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Yvel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Yvel drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yvel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yvel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Allen avoids it really well and circles away. Allen misses with a combination
and Yvel counters with a takedown into side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Yvel has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Yvel gets a clinch. Yvel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Allen missing with a left hand there. Yvel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Allen misses the jab. Allen walks forward, straight into a front kick from Yvel. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yvel shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yvel showed some decent athleticism there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yvel with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Allen tries to get to full guard but Yvel has control of the leg. Yvel prevents Allen from standing back up.
Allen is trying to get back to full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Allen wants to get back to his feet.
Yvel is taking a breather. Allen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ruben Yvel has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Allen tries to bum rush Yvel with a series of wild strikes but Yvel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yvel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Allen closes the distance and lands a one-two. Allen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Allen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Yvel counters with a leg kick. Allen tries to clinch but fails miserably and Yvel counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Allen is lucky that one didn't land flush. Allen misses with a double jab
and Yvel counters with a thumping low kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yvel using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Allen looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen is trying to break free. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Yvel lands a good knee to the midsection. Allen won't want to take too many of those. Allen is looking to break free of the clinch but Yvel has double underhooks. Yvel just leaning against Allen, taking a breather. Yvel breaks from the clinch.
Yvel goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Allen wants to clinch and Yvel counters with a nice double leg into guard. Yvel's corner is telling him to maintain position. Allen tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yvel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Yvel pushing down on Allen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Yvel is figuring out what he wants to do next. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yvel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Yvel works the jab nicely. Yvel throws a nice outside leg kick. Yvel shoots in for a takedown but Allen shows good takedown defense. Allen wants to clinch and Yvel counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Allen is lucky that one didn't land flush. A head kick misses from Yvel. Allen scores with a three punch combo!

Yvel moves out of range of the strikes. Allen misses with a series of wild punches.
Allen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Yvel counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Allen!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yvel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Allen tries to hold on but Yvel pushes him away. Yvel sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Yvel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. You get the feeling that Allen really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Yvel controlling the pace for now. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yvel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ruben Yvel. Allen throws a combination that misses and Yvel counters with a big head kick but Allen shrugs it off. Allen wants to clinch up but Yvel keeps it at a distance. Yvel blocks a low kick nicely. Allen wants to clinch up but Yvel keeps it at a distance. Yvel lands a high kick!
This has been an exciting period of action! Allen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Yvel. That one must have hurt. Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yvel paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dave Allen seems to be getting the better of the standup. Allen throws a leg kick but Yvel checks it. Allen looks to clinch and Yvel makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Allen really felt that one! Yvel clinches with his opponent.

A nice leg kick lands there from Yvel. Allen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Allen is breathing heavily. Yvel goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yvel paws at him with a jab and circles away. Yvel throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Allen's head. Yvel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yvel lands a front kick. Yvel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allen but Allen pushes him off and we're back to square one. Yvel throws a nice inside leg kick. Allen takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Yvel throws a sloppy head kick and Allen moves out of range easily. Allen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yvel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Allen can do to turn this around? Yvel avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Yvel dives in and scores a takedown into Allen's guard. Yvel decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Allen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Allen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Allen scores with a hook to the body. Yvel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ruben Yvel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yvel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Yvel shoots in looking for a takedown but Allen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yvel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A combination from Allen does no damage. Yvel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruben Yvel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Allen throws a right hand that misses
and Yvel counters with a nice double leg into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Yvel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yvel pushes down on Allen's leg and manages to get into half guard. Yvel decides to stand and escape the position. Yvel connects with a solid leg kick. Allen moves to clinch but Yvel breaks away and Yvel counters with a nice leg kick. Allen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen misses with a lunging right hand
and Yvel counters with a nice double leg into guard. Yvel controls from within his opponent's guard. Yvel stands up and waves to Allen to follow him. Yvel rushes Allen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Yvel's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Yvel working Allen over with knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yvel avoiding damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Allen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dave Allen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Allen takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Dave Allen has been cut. Yvel blocks an uppercut.
Allen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yvel walks away with a smile on his face. Allen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Yvel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Allen misses with a few strikes there.
Allen throws a jab when Yvel was well out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Allen is looking to clinch but Yvel is avoiding it.
A combination from Allen does no damage. Yvel throws a head kick that Allen semi-blocks.
And that's the end of the fight! Ruben Yvel showed his dominance in that final round. Well Yvel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
