Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cice Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calzaghe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Pride of Wales. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe throws a body punch but Salace moves out of range.
Salace shoots in and drives through. Calzaghe sprawls well.
Calzaghe scores with a sloppy right hand. Salace should have avoided that one.
Calzaghe lands with a hook. Salace tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Salace avoids the body shot from Calzaghe.
Salace walks into a left hand.
Calzaghe jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Salace gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice uppercut lands for Calzaghe. That snapped Salace's head back.

Salace drops his hands momentarily and Calzaghe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Calzaghe sizes up Salace with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Salace has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Salace might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Calzaghe has got the better of the exchanges.

OH! Salace has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Calzaghe smells blood and charges in for the finish! Calzaghe unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Salace sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
