The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley avoids a kick to the body.
Marley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thompson moves away.
Marley misses with a looping left.
Marley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thompson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Marley slaps away a takedown attempt from Thompson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Thompson wants to clinch.
Marley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No luck for Thompson with that takedown attempt.
Thompson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Marley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Thompson is in Marley's guard.
Thompson content to stall in guard here.
Thompson wants to control from the top but Marley keeps moving.

Marley looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Thompson is defending well. Marley quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Thompson has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Marley celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
