Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mercury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Steel is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Steel!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel tries to clinch but Mercury is having none of it.
Mercury fails to land the takedown.
Jack Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mercury shoots in but no luck this time.
Mercury shoots in looking for a takedown. Steel tries to sprawl out of it but Mercury keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Steel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Steel shoots in but Mercury avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mercury bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steel's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
