The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earth fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Earth stuffs the takedown attempt from Rivera. Rivera gets slowly back to his feet.
Rivera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Earth defends it nicely.
Earth shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rivera but Rivera pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Earth closes the distance and clinches up with Rivera, looking for a takedown. Earth pushes Rivera against the cage but Rivera circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rivera uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Earth.

Rivera lands a big elbow - Earth is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Rivera!
