Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Hach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davy Geerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Hach! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davy Geerts! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Geerts tries to clinch up. Hach tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A big right from Geerts misses. Geerts pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hach will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Geerts has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Geerts missing with a left hand there. Hach was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Geerts defending well as Hach loads up on a big left hand. Geerts thows a body shot but no joy.

Hach throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Geerts tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hach counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Geerts moves in looking to clinch but Hach pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hach misses with an uppercut. Hach digs a good hook to Geerts's body.

Hach circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Hach to counter with a crisp jab. Geerts tries to work over Hach's front leg with a kick but Hach checks it. Hach slow jab from Geerts misses its intended target. Hach tries to clinch up.

Hach uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hach swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hach tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Geerts paws at him with a jab and circles away. Geerts keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Hach scores with a one two! Geerts had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Geerts thows a leg kick but Hach checks it and Hach counters with a stiff right hand. Geerts fails with a takedown attempt. Hach fails with an attempt to clinch.

Geerts drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hach pulls his leg out and moves away.
Geerts lands with an uppercut that bounces Hach off the ropes and back into rage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Geerts throws out a leg kick but Hach moves out of range and Geerts only half commits. Geerts takes one on the button. Geerts takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Geerts clinches but Hach breaks the clinch and Hach counters with a left and a right that stings Geerts. Hach stuns Geerts with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Hach digs a good body shot into Geerts's ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hach moves into range and clinches up with Geerts. Hach breaks the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hach looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Geerts walks into a jab. Hach throws a left and a right that both miss
and Geerts connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Geerts needs to keep his hands up - Hach had a free shot at his head there. Hach gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hach lands with a light punch inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hach pushes Geerts back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Hach lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Hach scores with an uppercut up the middle. Geerts turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Geerts manages to end up in side control. Hach is looking for a sweep. Hach is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Geerts is controlling him well. Geerts wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hach keeps working. Hach tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Geerts trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hach manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hach tries to roll over but Geerts keeps him under control. Hach is pressing down on Geerts's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hach is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hach looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinton Hach dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Geerts wants to clinch letting Hach counter with a right hand. Geerts tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hach counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hach throws a right hand that Geerts ducks under and follows up with a left that Geerts also avoids with ease. Geerts swings for the body but Hach moves out of range.
Geerts throws the left hand but Hach avoids the punch easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Geerts tries to clinch and Hach counters with a left to the body. Hach takes the fight into the clinch. Geerts is trying to maintain a safe position but Hach gets an underhook and turns Geerts into the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Geerts misses with a knee strike.
Geerts creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Hach breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hach rushes Geerts and presses him up against the ropes. Hach tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hach is looking to control Geerts's arms but Geerts gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hach has his back to the ropes. Hach breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Quinton Hach is winning the standup battle so far. Geerts throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hach scores with a crisp jab that stopped Geerts in his tracks. Hach rushes Geerts and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Geerts wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Geerts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hach throws a right and a left that Geerts avoids nicely. Geerts tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hach, as that shot connected.

Geerts takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hach wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Geerts takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hach falls off balance throwing a combination
and Geerts counters with a three punch combo that has Hach backing up. Hach nods at Geerts to acknowledge the strikes. Quinton Hach is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hach misses with the combination.
Geerts takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lazy left from Hach finds it's target. Hach has closed the distance and engaged Geerts in a clinch.
Hach lands a shoulder strike. Hach lands a left hand.
Geerts has Hach pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Hach manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hach escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hach looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hach drives through and clinches with Geerts against the ropes.
Hach breaks the clinch.
Geerts shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Geerts dodges the punch combination from Hach.
Davy Geerts has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hach throws a combination that misses and Geerts counters with a nice uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Quinton Hach showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hach, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
