Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinte Cinco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Cottrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vinte Cinco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jimmy Cottrell! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cinco closes the distance and clinches. Cottrell wants a takedown but no success here.
Cinco breaks the clinch.
Cottrell closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cottrell lands in his opponent's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cottrell stands and throws Cinco's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cinco pushes Cottrell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cottrell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Cottrell decides to take the fight back to the feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cottrell gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Cinco is trying to stand.
Cinco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cottrell on the ground. Cottrell slips a nice elbow through Cinco's hands, connecting with Cinco's forehead. Still in half guard, Cottrell seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cottrell is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cinco! Cottrell scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cottrell tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cottrell lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cinco hang on? Cinco taking shots to the head. Cottrell scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Cinco?

Cottrell is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Cottrell!
