Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adolfo Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Pearmine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adolfo Dias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Pearmine! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dias feints and then cracks Pearmine's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pearmine down. Dias pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pearmine circles away from the clinch attempt.
A slapping body kick lands there for Dias. Pearmine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick from Dias lands but Pearmine takes it in his stride.
It looks like Shane Pearmine has been cut. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dias checks a leg kick. Pearmine throws a body kick that misses. Dias pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Pearmine lands a head kick!
It looks like Adolfo Dias has been cut. Adolfo Dias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dias closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pearmine tries to pull guard but Dias forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Dias trying to control the position but instead, Pearmine has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dias into the cage. Dias misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pearmine.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dias wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dias prevents a takedown attempt there.
Pearmine pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Dias is looking to stand up but Pearmine won't let him. Pearmine is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Pearmine pushes Dias off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Dias stuffs the takedown. Adolfo Dias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Pearmine. Dias closes the distance but Pearmine moves to the side and Pearmine counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dias!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pearmine scoring with strikes but Dias is staying in there. Pearmine with the ground and pound from mount. Pearmine controlling from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dias knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pearmine on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pearmine lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Pearmine landing shots from mount. Pearmine is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Pearmine!
