Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Boothe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ice Cold. Boothe has chosen Tyler The Creator - Yonkers as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Boothe! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Boothe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Liddell's calf. Boothe tries to land a front kick but Liddell steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A slapping leg kick lands for Liddell.
Liddell wants to clinch up but Boothe keeps it at a distance. Liddell needs to keep his hands up - Boothe had a free shot at his head there. Boothe punishes Liddell's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Liddell avoids the body shot from Boothe.
Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boothe swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chuck Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boothe keeps the fight on the outside. Liddell lands with a nice body punch. A slapping leg kick lands for Liddell.

Liddell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boothe. Good work by Boothe as he checks the leg kick. Liddell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Liddell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Boothe finds it's way round the side to connect with Liddell's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boothe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boothe takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Boothe smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Boothe takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A head kick misses from Liddell. Boothe misses with a low kick as Liddell jumps back. Boothe takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Boothe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boothe lands a really nice looking cross but Liddell seems unphased.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boothe motions for Liddell to come forward. Boothe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Liddell moves away and avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boothe checks the leg kick. Boothe throws a leg kick which misses Liddell's front leg but catches the back leg as Liddell tries to avoid it. Liddell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boothe. Liddell throws a leg kick and Boothe counters with a three punch combo that has Liddell backing up. Liddell nods at Boothe to acknowledge the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Boothe dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Boothe misses with an uppercut. Liddell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Liddell there as he acknowledges the shot. A nice inside leg kick there by Liddell. That's going to slow Boothe down. A jab from Boothe finds it's way through Liddell's defenses. Boothe's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. A slapping leg kick lands for Liddell.
Boothe looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boothe paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boothe looks to land a combination but Liddell avoids it well. Liddell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Liddell throws a push kick but Boothe slaps the foot to one side. Liddell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Boothe lands a nice hook to Liddell's body. Liddell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Liddell slips under a jab from Boothe. Boothe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Liddell.

Boothe was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Liddell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Boothe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Liddell sees it coming and avoids it easily. Liddell pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Boothe cracks Liddell with a hook to the jaw. That's three minutes gone in the round. Boothe tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Liddell tries to throw a body punch but Boothe avoids it by throwing Liddell back against the cage. Boothe misses with a body punch.
Boothe tries to work over Liddell's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Liddell just misses with a elbow thrown towards Boothe's brow. Liddell tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Boothe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Liddell tries to land knees in the clinch but Boothe avoids the damage to the body. Liddell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Boothe has Liddell pressed against the cage, preventing Liddell from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Boothe lands a left hand.
