Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hussein Eissa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yolo Foshoyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hussein Eissa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yolo Foshoyo! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eissa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Foshoyo sprawls well. Foshoyo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eissa gets slowly back to his feet. Foshoyo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Eissa to the ground. Foshoyo is now in Eissa's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Eissa has his hands on Foshoyo's head, controlling the position. Foshoyo postures up and lands a big shot to Eissa's brow. Foshoyo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Foshoyo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Foshoyo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eissa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Foshoyo has managed to get both his arms back between Eissa's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eissa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foshoyo controls the pace.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Yolo Foshoyo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Foshoyo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Eissa darts in trying to clinch and Foshoyo moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eissa looking to slow down the pace here. Foshoyo breaks the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Eissa. Foshoyo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Eissa's guard. Foshoyo sitting in guard, not really doing much. Eissa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Foshoyo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eissa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foshoyo is in close to Eissa's body, working some short punches and elbows. Foshoyo passes into half guard. Foshoyo postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Eissa to stand up. Hussein Eissa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Foshoyo jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Foshoyo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Foshoyo staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foshoyo working the head with strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Foshoyo is working Eissa over with some ground and pound from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Foshoyo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eissa, who protects the arm well. Foshoyo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Eissa's shoulder. That is not cool. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yolo Foshoyo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Eissa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Eissa tries for a takedown but Foshoyo circles away easily and Foshoyo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Eissa's guard now. Eissa looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Foshoyo passes into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Eissa wants to control but Foshoyo is keeping busy.
Well, if Foshoyo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Foshoyo works his foot free and advances to mount. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foshoyo is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Eissa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Eissa! Eissa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foshoyo swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foshoyo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eissa's guard. Foshoyo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Foshoyo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Eissa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eissa is working an open guard so Foshoyo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Foshoyo wants to clinch up but Eissa keeps it at a distance. Foshoyo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Foshoyo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Eissa regains guard.

Foshoyo decides to stand up. Eissa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Foshoyo throws a head kick that Eissa semi-blocks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foshoyo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Eissa counters with an outside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Foshoyo fails with a takedown attempt. Foshoyo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Foshoyo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eissa is keeping the position for now. Eissa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foshoyo controls the pace. Foshoyo advances to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Foshoyo is thwarting Eissa's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yolo Foshoyo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Nice takedown defense from Foshoyo. No joy for Eissa on that attempt. Foshoyo shoots in for a takedown but Eissa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Eissa gets caught flat footed, as Foshoyo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Eissa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Foshoyo controls the pace. Foshoyo missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Foshoyo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eissa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Foshoyo has managed to get both his arms back between Eissa's legs - danger averted.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yolo Foshoyo has got the better of the ground game so far. Foshoyo is trying to get an arm triangle but Eissa is defending well. Eissa is trying to escape the position but Foshoyo is controlling the position. Hussein Eissa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foshoyo is working to tighten is grip on Eissa's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Eissa has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Foshoyo is really squeezing tight and eventually Eissa passes out! Foshoyo breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
