Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Conolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant Barnett will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grant Barnett! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Barnett misses. Barnett just misses with a punch to the body.
Barnett misses with a low kick. Conolly takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Conolly on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Barnett thuds a left hand into Conolly's body. Barnett scores with the left hand. Conolly knows he should have avoided that one. Conolly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Conolly is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Conolly with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Barnett is desperately trying to improve his position but Conolly has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Conolly can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Barnett is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aiden Conolly will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Barnett lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Conolly has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barnett. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Conolly crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Barnett - the referee stops the clock and Conolly gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Barnett. Conolly manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. An inside leg kick lands from Barnett. Barnett connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Conolly momentarily.
Barnett scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Barnett. Barnett turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Conolly stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barnett. Barnett throws a head kick that Conolly semi-blocks.
Conolly has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Barnett. Barnett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Barnett fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Barnett lands with a nice body punch. A nice inside leg kick there by Barnett. That's going to slow Conolly down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Barnett. Grant Barnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barnett lands with an overhand left. Nice shot by Barnett. Barnett works Conolly's body with a nice hook. Barnett buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Barnett scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Conolly moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barnett with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Barnett throws a leg kick which misses Conolly's front leg but catches the back leg as Conolly tries to avoid it.

Grant Barnett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Conolly walks forward, straight into a front kick from Barnett. Barnett fakes the leg kick and cracks Conolly in the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Conolly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barnett can pounce on him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Conolly has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Conolly there as he acknowledges the shot. Good exchange - Barnett coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnett lands a nice looking kick to the body. Conolly takes a step back to recover. Conolly fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Barnett fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Conolly has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Barnett looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Barnett turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Barnett. That's going to slow Conolly down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barnett lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Barnett. A chopping leg kick lands by Barnett. Conolly drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Barnett lands with a good body shot. Barnett connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Barnett thumps Conolly with a low kick. Conolly has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barnett. Conolly will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnett connects with a leg kick. Conolly looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Barnett lands a nice shot that snaps Conolly's head back.
Conolly has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barnett. Barnett connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Conolly's hands. Barnett throws a nice inside leg kick. Barnett has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Barnett scores with a sloppy right hand. Conolly should have avoided that one. A slapping body kick lands there for Barnett. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barnett connects with a leg kick. Conolly looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Barnett lands a left and a right that send Conolly crashing to the mat, dazed. Barnett thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Conolly is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnett connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Oh Conolly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Barnett thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Conolly if he has to take too many more of those.
Barnett cracks Conolly on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Conolly falls backwards against the cage. Barnett follows up with more strikes that drop Conolly to his knees. Barnett keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Conolly! This one is all over!
