Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chance Taken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Torres's choice of entrance music: Adagio For Strings. Chance Taken has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taken waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Torres. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Torres to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Torres is rocked!
It looks like Kid Torres has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taken is stalling in the full guard.
Torres is still in real trouble! Can Taken finish him?
Taken missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Torres seems to have recovered his senses.
Taken postures up in Torres's guard and throws a big left but Torres blocks it.

Taken breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Taken tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance.
Torres fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Taken manages to avoid it.
Taken smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taken gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Torres counters with a low kick, right behind Taken 's knee.
Taken shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Torres defends it nicely.

Chance Taken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taken stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Torres.
Torres with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Chance Taken will probably get the nod.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Taken throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Torres jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Torres throws a front kick aimed at Taken's knee but Taken avoids it well.
Torres displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Taken.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Torres is looking to improve his position but Taken isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Taken cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Taken can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Torres is looking to escape.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Taken! Torres is hurt baaadly! Taken is firing away with more strikes - Torres is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
