The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cherry fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cherry closes the distance and clinches up with Kokovtsov, looking for a takedown. Cherry pushes Kokovtsov against the cage but Kokovtsov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kokovtsov moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cherry walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kokovtsov.
Cherry looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kokovtsov jabs at Cherry's body.
Kokovtsov throws a right and a left that Cherry avoids nicely.
Nice cross by Kokovtsov.
It looks like Buster Cherry has been cut.
Kokovtsov lands a big head kick that sends Cherry tumbling to the mat! Kokovtsov takes a step backwards and waves Cherry back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cherry is rocked!
Kokovtsov lands with a big right hook that stumbles Cherry - he's out on his feet here! Kokovtsov follows up with another monster hook that separates Cherry from consciousness! Cherry falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kokovtsov stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
