Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Primo Self (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Decon Starian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Starian's choice of entrance music: I need a hero. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Primo Self! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Decon Starian! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starian throws a low kick but it's checked well by Self. Self throws a low kick, looking for Starian's leg but Starian calmly moves out of range. Self connects with a looping right hand.
Starian fails with a takedown attempt. Self uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Starian. Self keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Starian. Starian swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Self throws a push kick but Starian slaps the foot to one side. Decon Starian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Starian fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Self throws a hook but Starian avoids it easily. Starian looks to land a right hand but Self moved out of range. Sloppy strikes from Self. Those never looked like landing. Self scores with a sloppy right hand. Starian should have avoided that one. Self scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Self scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Starian doesn't seem bothered though. Starian wants to clinch. Starian darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Starian trying to control the pace. Self is trying to stand back up but Starian is controlling him
Starian trying to pass the guard but Self defending well. Self is looking to get back to is feet but Starian passes into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Starian content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Starian tries to advance to mount but Self denies him. Self is looking to get back to his feet here but Starian is keeping cool and he's managed to take Self's back. Self wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Starian is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starian is cranking Self's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Self! He's tightened the choke and Self is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Decon Starian! After winning the bout, Decon Starian thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
