Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lock Bresner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Hex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hex's choice of entrance music: Asa - Persepolis. Jonah Hex will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lock Bresner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonah Hex!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bresner feints and as Hex raises his hands in defense, Bresner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hex has momentary wrist control but Bresner slips an elbow through the middle.
Bresner trying to control but Hex is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bresner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bresner tries to free his leg and advance position but Hex is retaining full guard.
Bresner wants to control from the top but Hex keeps moving.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hex avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hex keeping moving, preventing Bresner from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bresner.

Bresner throws a lazy uppercut
and Hex counters with a one-two to the body.
Hex doesn't manage to clinch there - Bresner circles away.
Hex lands a jab to Bresner's midsection.
Bresner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lock Bresner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bresner closes the distance and clinches up with Hex, looking for a takedown. Bresner pushes Hex against the cage but Hex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hex wants to clinch up but Bresner keeps it at a distance.
Hex tries to clinch but Bresner moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hex closes the distance and clinches.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hex is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bresner is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hex to the mat. Hex regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hex wants to stand up but Bresner is controlling him.
Bresner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hex swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bresner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bresner throws a big elbow that misses.
Hex has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bresner off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Hex tries to clinch but Bresner moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Hex as Bresner shoots in.
Hex tries to clinch up but Bresner circles away and keeps his distance.

Hex slaps away a takedown attempt from Bresner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hex has taken the fight to the clinch.
A knee to the head by Hex.
It looks like Lock Bresner has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hex has Bresner pushed against the cage.
Hex has Bresner pressed against the cage, preventing Bresner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bresner is trying to drag Hex to the mat but Hex just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonah Hex dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lock Bresner's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hex tries to close the distance and clinch but Bresner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lock Bresner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bresner misses with a takedown attempt - Hex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hex moves into the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hex obliges.

Hex lands a knee to the head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hex takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Hex. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hex lands a big knee! That's hurt Bresner! Oh, he's all over the place! Hex lands another knee that sends Bresner to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonah Hex!
In his post fight interview, Jonah Hex started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
