Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lander Plast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lander Plast could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jon Jordan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lander Plast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Jordan! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plast defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jordan. Jordan slaps away a takedown attempt from Plast, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Plast. No joy for Jordan on that attempt. Jordan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Plast to the ground. Jordan is now in Plast's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jordan content to stall in guard here. Plast is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Jordan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plast swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jordan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jordan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Plast. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jordan stays in close to Plast's body and controls the position. Jordan trying to control but Plast is working from the bottom. OK we're going to have a standup here. Jon Jordan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jordan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Plast! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jordan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. That was a close round but I would say that Lander Plast will probably get the nod. That's time! Plast's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown but Plast shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Plast is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jordan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Plast fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jordan avoids it really well and circles away. The ref stands the fighters back up. Jon Jordan was stalling too much, according to the referee. Horrible takedown by Plast or perhaps it was just good defense by Jordan which made him look bad. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Plast has his takedown stuffed and Jordan counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jordan preventing the sweep. Plast keeping moving, preventing Jordan from controlling successfully. Jordan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Plast utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jordan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Plast is keeping the position for now. Plast is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jordan is aware though and is defending well. Jordan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Plast looking for submissions from the bottom here. Let's hope that Jordan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Plast has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jordan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Plast. Jordan is working Plast over with some ground and pound from side control. Plast is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jordan is trying to get an arm triangle but Plast is defending well.
