Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic has chosen Wild boys as his entrance music. Mirko Filipovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Spar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Filipovic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Filipovic wants to get back to his feet.
Spar is nestled in close to Filipovic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Spar lands a nice short elbow.

Spar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Spar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Filipovic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Spar lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Spar lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Filipovic quite badly. Filipovic pulls Spar in close trying to recover. Spar postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Filipovic on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Filipovic doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wrestling Spar!
A very excited looking Wrestling Spar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
