Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cameron St John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St John comes to the ring accompanied by Wherever I May Roam. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mirko Emelianenko enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cameron St John! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mirko Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St John feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Emelianenko throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Emelianenko throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. St John lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. St John works over Emelianenko with some ground and pound from guard. Emelianenko throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

St John lands a couple of digs. St John looking to control the position here, rather than advance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! St John wants to stand but Emelianenko has a closed guard, so he can't escape. St John got a little sloppy there for a moment and Emelianenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, St John has managed to get both his arms back between Emelianenko's legs - danger averted. St John prevents Emelianenko from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
St John has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Emelianenko is proving hard to escape from. St John might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Emelianenko wants to stand but St John is controlling the position. Emelianenko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Emelianenko can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as St John controls the pace. Emelianenko wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cameron St John wasn't doing enough on the ground. Emelianenko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows St John to score an easy takedown into full guard. St John tries to stand but Emelianenko is controlling from the bottom. St John lands a couple of elbows. St John is working Emelianenko over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Emelianenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. St John doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. St John manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Emelianenko looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. St John works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St John passes the guard and advances to mount! St John controlling his opponent. St John has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Emelianenko's face.
St John controlling his opponent. St John knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Emelianenko on the ground. St John is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Emelianenko has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. St John looking to secure an arm triangle but Emelianenko defends it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelianenko throwing hammer fists to the chest of St John. What's that going to do exactly? Emelianenko throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Emelianenko is desperately trying to improve his position but St John has a good base and remains in mount. St John looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Emelianenko is rocked! Emelianenko is trying desperately to improve position. Emelianenko is still in real trouble! Can St John finish him? Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Emelianenko takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! St John's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
