Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Daris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Law might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to pretender. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Daris throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Law stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Law could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Daris throws out a loose jab but Law uses good head movement to avoid it.
Law takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Derek Law has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Law rushes Daris and presses him up against the cage.
Daris working hard to break the clinch.
Daris is trying to push Law away but Law has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Law has Daris pressed against the cage.
Daris pushes off an throws an elbow but Law leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Law jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Daris walks away with a smile on his face. Law gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Daris thows a left - swing and a miss!

Daris lands a big head kick that sends Law tumbling to the mat! Daris takes a step backwards and waves Law back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daris misses with a hook.

and Law counters with a stiff right hand.
Law throws a body kick that misses.
Daris connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

and Law counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Law has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Daris is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Daris might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

That was a close second round but I would say that Derek Law will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Law is pressed up against the cage. Daris has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Law down to the mat. Law avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Law counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Daris is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Junior Daris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Daris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
