Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Kawazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawazaki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slayer- War Ensemble. Reis has chosen Duality as his entrance music. Evan Reis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Kawazaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Reis which made him look bad.
Kawazaki throws a sloppy head kick and Reis moves out of range easily.
Kawazaki fails with a takedown attempt.
Kawazaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Kawazaki. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Reis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Reis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Reis has his foot on Kawazaki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kawazaki works his way back into a safe position though.
Kawazaki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kawazaki is posturing up here but Reis has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kawazaki tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kawazaki has to tap! Slick submission there by Reis!
