Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatchakorn Yeerum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wayne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Something in the Way by Nirvana. Yeerum comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Thai Monk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Tatchakorn Yeerum acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeerum on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wayne. Wayne obviously looking to wear him down.
Yeerum tests Wayne's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Ronnie Wayne has been cut.
Wayne with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yeerum to score with a decent uppercut.
Yeerum thows a body shot but no joy.
Wayne misses with a jab, cross combination.
Yeerum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wayne was well out of range. Poor timing from Yeerum.
Yeerum paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Tatchakorn Yeerum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yeerum throws a lazy right hand but Wayne sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Yeerum feints a jab promting Wayne to slip. Yeerum then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wayne slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Wayne takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yeerum throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wayne stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Yeerum takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Wayne takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yeerum. Wayne does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wayne does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Wayne slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Wayne connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yeerum momentarily.

Yeerum keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wayne fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Yeerum is out of range.

Yeerum is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wayne had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Yeerum uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wayne.
Wayne stuns Yeerum with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Yeerum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wayne manages to avoid it.

Wayne bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yeerum's head.

Good leg kick by Wayne there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Yeerum drives through and clinches with Wayne against the cage.

Yeerum connects with a combination that backs up Wayne into the cage. Yeerum lands a flurry of punches that gets past Wayne's guard. Wayne is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Yeerum bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
