Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wayne Walters!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sukihara looks for the body kick but Walters saw that one coming.
Walters chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Walters stalks Sukihara and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sukihara's face. Sukihara staggers backwards, shaken.
Sukihara fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Walters as Sukihara shoots in.
Sukihara will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Teriyaki Sukihara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walters shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Walters lands a big shot there that rocks Sukihara but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Walters fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Walters tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sukihara tries to hold on but Walters pushes him away.

Walters wants to control the pace but Sukihara is squirming around nicely.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Walters cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Walters trying to control but Sukihara is having none of it.
Walters jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sukihara is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sukihara and Walters has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Sukihara is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Sukihara is breathing heavily.
Walters is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sukihara has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sukihara manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Walters passes the guard and advances to mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sukihara is looking to improve his position but Walters isn't that keen on the idea.

Walters in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Sukihara wants to control but Walters is having none of it.

Sukihara is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Walters off and has taken his back!
Sukihara looking to break Walters's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Walters remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Sukihara will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Walters tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Sukihara has control of Walters's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Walters regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Walters is desperately trying to improve his position but Sukihara has a good base and remains in mount.

Sukihara quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Sukihara but it's paid off an Walters is forced to tap! Nice work by Sukihara.
