Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between NJ Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erwin Tulfo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgarry shoots in and drives through. Tulfo sprawls well.
Tulfo tries to clinch up but Mcgarry circles away and keeps his distance.

Tulfo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mcgarry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Tulfo. Those never looked like landing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcgarry is defended easily by Tulfo.

Mcgarry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tulfo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcgarry somewhat.

Mcgarry closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tulfo did well to prevent Mcgarry getting side control.

Mcgarry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tulfo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mcgarry.

Mcgarry tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tulfo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mcgarry drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Mcgarry seems to have locked his on tight now - Tulfo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mcgarry, as he picks up the win!
