Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bak doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Manuel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Manuel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Manuel works over Bak with some ground and pound from guard.
It looks like Ong Bak has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Manuel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That has opened up Ong Bak's cut even more.
Manuel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bak, up you get!
Bak closes this distance looking for a takedown but Manuel circles away.
Bak fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Manuel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Manuel shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Manuel showed some decent athleticism there.
Bak is trying to control but can't.
Manuel is trying for a kimura here. Bak looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Manuel wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Cole Manuel!
