Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cubensis Azul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Spencer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ride Of The Valkyries - Richard Wagner. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Azul lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Spencer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Spencer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Azul scores with a nice head shot.
Azul lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Spencer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Azul is trying to defend but Spencer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Azul is pulling down on Spencer's head. It's preventing any offense from Spencer, at least for the moment.

Azul connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Spencer some visible discomfort.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Azul is trying to work for a kimura but Spencer is defending well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Azul seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A bone on bone clash there as Spencer blocks the leg kick.

A looping hook to the body misses from Azul. Spencer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Spencer throws a body punch but Azul moves out of range.

Spencer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Azul as he jumps to the side.

Azul fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Spencer throws a series of punches but Azul avoids them all with ease.
Spencer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Spencer takes a swing at Azul's ribcage but misses.

Azul throws a body kick that misses.
Azul's corner calls for a 1-2. Azul obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Azul gets caught napping as Spencer dives in and scores a takedown. Azul manages to retain guard.
Azul working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spencer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Azul is tightening it up a little... Spencer has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Spencer reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Spencer taps out! Nice BJJ there by Azul!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Cubensis Azul!
Cubensis Azul tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
