Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juarez Del Fuago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bloodwork. Jhon Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juarez Del Fuago! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jhon Jones! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Fuago doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a nice double leg into side control. Del Fuago won't be happy with that. Del Fuago is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control. Jones takes a little break here. Del Fuago wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Del Fuago is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones taking a breather here.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jhon Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Del Fuago looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Del Fuago shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Del Fuago is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jones jumps into side control! Jones controls the position from side control. Del Fuago wants to control but Jones postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Del Fuago is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jones's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Del Fuago. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Del Fuago looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Del Fuago trying to control here.
Del Fuago wants to get back to his feet. Del Fuago looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Del Fuago is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard. Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is posturing up here but Del Fuago has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Jones tries to roll out but it's too tight and Jones has to tap! Slick submission there by Del Fuago!
