Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benjamin Cheng!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryu forces Cheng back against the cage and clinches.
Ryu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cheng tries to keep at a distance but Ryu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cheng misses with an elbow strike.
Ryu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ryu scores with a head kick.
Ryu has managed to clinch.
Cheng swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Ryu goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cheng tries to clinch but Ryu moves out of range.
Ryu rushes Cheng and presses him up against the cage.

Cheng shoots in but Ryu avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ryu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ryu wants it to stay on the feet.

Cheng shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryu sprawls well. Ryu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cheng gets slowly back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Ryu counters with a thumping low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evil Ryu dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cheng jumps guard but Ryu stands there with Cheng around his waist. Cheng gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cheng using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ryu has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ryu escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cheng misses with a head kick.
Cheng on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ryu moves out of range of the body kick from Cheng.
Ryu throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ryu plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ryu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Cheng is rocked!
Cheng shoots for a double leg takedown but Ryu sprawls well. He's pushed Cheng's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cheng is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryu finish him?
Cheng is breathing heavily.
The fighters circle, before Ryu throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Cheng's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ryu lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Evil Ryu!
