The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulev lands a head kick. Nord smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Nord throws a hook but Tulev avoids it easily.
Nord gets tackled into the cage by Tulev. Tulev maintains the clinch.
Tulev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tulev moves into the clinch.
Tulev jumps into guard, dragging Nord to the mat.
Tulev kicks Nord off and gets to his feet.
Nord stuffs the takedown attempt from Tulev. Tulev gets slowly back to his feet.
Tulev shoots in for a double leg but Nord sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nord feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tulevs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nord lands a leg kick that knocks Tulev off balance momentarily.
Tulev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nord avoids it really well and circles away.
Nord connects with a body shot that sends Tulev's belly button to the back.
Aleks Nord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tulev tries to clinch up but Nord circles away and keeps his distance.
Tulev takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nord fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tulev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tulev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nord throws a shot to the body.
Nord lands a leg kick that knocks Tulev off balance momentarily.
Nord scores with the left hand. Tulev knows he should have avoided that one.

Nord lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tulev has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nord.
Nord looks to land a right hand but Tulev moved out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tulev.

Nord throws a right hand that Tulev ducks under and follows up with a left that Tulev also avoids with ease.
Nord is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Nord cracks Tulev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Nord throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nord takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
No luck for Tulev with that takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nord. Tulev does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tulev looks for a takedown but Nord sprawls well.

Nord fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tulev manages to avoid it.

Tulev darts in and clinches Nord up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tulev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nord is one step ahead there.
Tulev has control of Nord's left arm, preventing Nord from doing any damage.
Tulev throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tulev looking for a guillotine here but Nord defends easily.

Tulev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nord doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nord manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tulev pushes Nord off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

No joy there for Tulev, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
