Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jesse Dardar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rysty Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dardar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Some Go Again. Jesse Dardar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dardar lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sankari swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sankari. Dardar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dardar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dardar throws a sloppy head kick and Sankari moves out of range easily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dardar.
Dardar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dardar scores with a body shot.
Sankari looks to throw the jab but Dardar is out of range.
Dardar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sankari throws an overhand right that lands on Dardar's shoulder, as Dardar tries to avoid the shot.
Sankari throws a series of strikes that have Dardar backpedaling.
Dardar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sankari moves forwards but Dardar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dardar.
Sankari takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Dardar takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Rysty Sankari was lucky to get out of the first round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Dardar staggers Sankari with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Sankari looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sankari crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dardar - the referee stops the clock and Sankari gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dardar. Sankari manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sankari takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dardar throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sankari.
Dardar fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sankari on the side of the head.


Sankari is rocked!
Dardar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sankari.
Sankari is still on wobbly legs! Can Dardar finish him?

Sankari tries to stall but Dardar uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sankari seems to have recovered his senses.
Dardar lands with a right to the head.
Sankari lands a hook that snaps the head of Dardar backwards.
Dardar lands with a short shot to the head.
Dardar taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Dardar digs a right hand into Sankari's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Sankari's gas tank.
Dardar comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sankari looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dardar lands a hook that snaps the head of Sankari backwards.
Dardar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dardar lands an elbow inside that Sankari shrugs off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jesse Dardar will take that round after scoring the only knockdown of the round.

Sankari takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dardar cracks Sankari with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the cage! Can Sankari get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Sankari looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Dardar! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jesse Dardar!
In his post fight interview, Jesse Dardar gave a big smile as he said 'Rysty said he was going to put me to sleep tonight. I wasnt mad at him for that though. That was just The Fear talking when he found out he was facing me. I can't blame him for that.'.
