Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jone King! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, B G James! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James is looking to clinch. King tries for a takedown but James sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes. King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching James on his heels. He'll look to pass James's guard now, I'm sure. King drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but James manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now King has James in his guard. King is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. King wriggles free and stands up. James instigates a clinch. James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by James, who protects the arm well.

King closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming James to the mat! James manages to get full guard. James can't keep his opponent in guard - King advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. King is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
King is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. King quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for King but it's paid off an James is forced to tap! Nice work by King.
