The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boyd sprawls well. Boyd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Moore gets slowly back to his feet.

Moore clinches up with Boyd and pushes him back against the cage.

Moore breaks from the clinch.
Moore doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boyd counters with a one-two to the body.

Boyd gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Moore to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Boyd utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Boyd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Moore gets to his feet. Boyd looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Moore shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moore has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boyd is looking to get back to full guard here but Moore has managed to pass to side control instead.

Moore decides to stand up, so the ref orders Boyd to his feet.
Moore closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boyd circles away.

and Moore counters with a two punch combo.
Boyd defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moore.
Moore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boyd sprawls well. Boyd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Moore gets slowly back to his feet.
Moore thumps Boyd with a low kick.

Moore changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boyd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moore is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boyd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Moore lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Boyd down.

Moore has an Americana. Boyd didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Moore is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Moore hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
