Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lance Cade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tran is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Theme from Mortal Kombat. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lance Cade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Tran! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tran fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tran throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cade shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tran is trying to defend but Cade finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cade is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tran scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cade manages to mount him!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tran suckers Cade into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Tran is now in Cade's guard!

Cade has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cade preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cade utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tran trying to control the position from guard on top but Cade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tran is looking to work some ground and pound but Cade has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tran throwing strikes but missing. Tran with a flurry of punches that miss. Tran trying to control but Cade is working from the bottom. Tran is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cade working for a triangle but Tran defends it easily.
Cade looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tran puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lance Cade will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tran fails to land the takedown. No luck for Tran with that takedown attempt. Tran throws a head kick that misses. Cade shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cade showed some decent athleticism there. Tran is trying to stand back up but Cade is controlling him
Tran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cade connects with a nice short shot to Tran's temple. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Lance Cade just wasn't active enough. Cade keeps the fight on the outside. Tran tries to clinch there but Cade circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cade shoots for a takedown but Tran saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cade keeps the fight on the outside. Cade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cade wants to clinch. Tran is looking to clinch. Tran moves into the clinch. Tran scores with a knee to the head.
Tran is trying to pull guard but Cade has him pressed against the cage. Lance Cade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Tran. Cade tries to circle away but Tran has him pinned against the cage. Tran landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tran using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cade has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Cade gets control of Tran's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cade will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tran wants to stand but Cade has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Tran missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cade wants to sweep but no luck. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tran with a flurry of punches that miss. Tran in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tran must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cade is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cade lands a nice short elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cade thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cade trying to control the action but Tran is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cade postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cade tries to move into full mount but can't pass Tran's legs. Cade is looking to take a break and control but Tran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tran throws Cade to one side and escapes! Tran tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cade paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tran lands a head kick!

Cade decides to stand and escape the position. Tran tries to close the distance and clinch but Cade swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Harry Tran has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lance Cade is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cade avoids the elbow strike from Tran, against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Lance Cade showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cade, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
