Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Munk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikail Petrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark Munk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mikail Petrovich! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Petrovich sprawls well initially but Munk persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Munk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Petrovich knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Petrovich wants to control but Munk is keeping busy and won't allow it. Petrovich wants to improve his position but Munk is controlling well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Munk in particular looking to stall. Munk missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Petrovich wants to control but Munk is keeping busy.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mikail Petrovich wasn't active enough on the ground. Munk blocks a head kick by Petrovich.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petrovich showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Munk.
Petrovich fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Petrovich tries to keep at a distance but Munk has taken the fight into the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Petrovich tries for a takedown. No joy.

Mark Munk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikail Petrovich. Munk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Petrovich misses with a takedown and Munk counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Munk tries to land a sweep but no joy. Petrovich trying to control but Munk is working from the bottom. Munk on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Munk tries to get out of the position. Petrovich with a flurry of punches that miss. Munk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Petrovich's guard. Petrovich keeping moving, preventing Munk from controlling successfully. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Munk sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Petrovich manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Munk manages to get himself to full guard.
Munk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Petrovich controls the pace. Petrovich trying to control but Munk is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mikail Petrovich. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Petrovich is defended easily by Munk.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nice takedown defense from Munk. No joy for Petrovich on that attempt. Petrovich wants to clinch and Munk counters with a nice double leg into guard. Petrovich throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Petrovich trying to keep a closed guard but Munk is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Munk trying to control the position from guard on top but Petrovich is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Munk is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrovich tries a head kick but it misses.
Petrovich wants to clinch and Munk counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Munk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Munk looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Petrovich keeping moving, preventing Munk from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Munk knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Petrovich on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Mark Munk just wasn't active enough. Petrovich tries to clinch but Munk moves out of range. Munk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Petrovich. Decent striking displayed by Munk there. No luck with that takedown attempt from Munk. Petrovich is looking to clinch. Munk misses with a takedown attempt and Petrovich counters with a nice double leg into side control. Munk won't be happy with that. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Petrovich wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Munk, who protects the arm well. An elbow from Petrovich crashes against the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Munk struggling a bit here. Mark Munk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Petrovich wants to control but Munk is keeping him busy. Munk struggling a bit here. Petrovich trying to control the action but Munk is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrovich decides to stand back up. Petrovich slips a jab from Munk. Petrovich shoots in but no luck this time. Petrovich gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Munk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mark Munk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikail Petrovich. Munk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Petrovich isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Munk stacks Petrovich on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Munk! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrovich is trying to control Munk's posture but Munk avoids it. Munk is staying tight to Petrovich's torso, preventing him from escaping. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Petrovich manages to get back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Petrovich is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Munk will probably get the nod. That's time! Munk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Petrovich scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Munk is trying to get back to half guard. Munk struggling a bit here. Munk manages to get back to half guard. Munk is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Petrovich wants to control but Munk is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Petrovich passes to full mount! Munk is squirming around, avoiding Petrovich's attempts to control the action. Petrovich controlling his opponent. Munk is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrovich trying to control but Munk is having none of it. Petrovich tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Petrovich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Munk is looking to escape. Munk is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrovich putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Petrovich lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Petrovich controlling his opponent. Petrovich raining down shots from the mount! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Petrovich breaks from Munk's wrist control and lands an elbow. Petrovich manages to capitalize on a mistake by Munk to take his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petrovich has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Munk is defending well but eventually Petrovich manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Munk has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
