The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonees shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jonees was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Eonardo throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Eonardo tries to hold on but Jonees pushes him away.
Eonardo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Jonees really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eonardo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eonardo is trying to get back to full guard.
Jonees is thwarting Eonardo's attempts to control the position.
Jonees is trying to control the action in half guard but Eonardo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Eonardo wants to improve his position but Jonees is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Eonardo looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Eonardo is pressing down on Jonees's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jonees content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Eonardo has locked up a guillotine! Eonardo's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jonees is holding on here and Eonardo must be using up a lot of energy. Jonees has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Eonardo gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
