Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ardaz Nailz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ardaz Nailz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Steven Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nailz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shaw shoots for a double leg takedown but Nailz sprawls well. He's pushed Shaw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nailz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shaw as he jumps to the side.
Nailz tries for a takedown but Shaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Nailz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shaw, pushing him back against the cage.
Shaw fails to pull guard.
Ardaz Nailz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Shaw.
Shaw is trying to break the clinch but Nailz has him pressed against the cage.

Shaw has clasped his hands together around Nailz's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Shaw remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Nailz wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Nailz tries to buck Shaw off but Shaw is having none of it.
Nailz manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Nailz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nailz is positioning himself well to prevent Shaw advancing to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nailz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shaw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shaw's back!

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Shaw has eaten all the pies!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nailz has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Shaw has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Shaw is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Nailz with him. Nailz is trying to defend but Shaw has an arm under the chin now! Nailz grimaces and is forced to tap out!
