Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlo Sablada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herr Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sablada connects with a single shot there.
Sablada misses with a body shot.
Mann jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sablada takes a swing at Mann's ribcage but misses.
Sablada throws a body punch but Mann moves out of range.
Mann feints and as Sablada raises his hands in defense, Mann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mann is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sablada is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mann is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mann missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mann loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mann wants to clinch.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mann lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Mann swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sablada counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mann throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sablada's head.

Sablada circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sablada looks to score with a jab to the body but Mann is just out of range.
Sablada is looking to wear down Mann with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Mann on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mann throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sablada makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mann is looking to clinch but Sablada is avoiding it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sablada bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mann's head backwards.
Mann pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mann tries to score with a low kick but Sablada moves his leg out of the way.
Mann throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sablada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mann pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Herr Mann will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sablada swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sablada fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sablada throws a body punch but Mann moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sablada swats away the attempt to clinch by Mann.
Herr Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mann gets a takedown into half guard.

Sablada is trying to stand back up but Mann is controlling him
Sablada is defending against the submission attempts here by Mann.
Mann wants to work for an arm triangle but Sablada is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mann is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sablada reverses the position - he's now on top in Mann's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sablada tries to stand but Mann is controlling from the bottom.
Mann looking for a sweep. Not yet Mann, not yet.
Mann will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Sablada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mann is breathing heavily.
Mann wants to improve his position but instead Sablada has moved into half guard.
Mann tries to roll over but Sablada keeps him under control.
Mann has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mann is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sablada's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sablada's back!

Mann is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Sablada knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Sablada for a finish.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Herr Mann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Mann throws a head kick but Sablada moves out of range.
Sablada just misses with a punch to the body.
Sablada cracks Mann with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mann uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sablada.

and Sablada makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Mann is looking to clinch but Sablada is avoiding it.
Mann throws a series of punches but Sablada avoids them all with ease.
Mann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sablada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sablada moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sablada loads up on a big right hand but Mann slips the punch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mann tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sablada lands a nice hook to Mann's body. Mann takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mann shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Mann misses with some ground and pound and Sablada recovers position to half guard.
Mann not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Sablada pushes Mann away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mann gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Mann is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sablada has escaped the position, nice work there.
Carlo Sablada has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mann takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mann misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Mann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

I would just about give that final round to Herr Mann.
I've got Mann winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
