Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Moffitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walsh has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Moffitt! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walsh thuds his right hand into Moffitt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A punch combination from Walsh misses. Moffitt throws a nice head kick!
Moffitt shoots and misses and Walsh counters with a three punch combo that has Moffitt backing up. Moffitt nods at Walsh to acknowledge the strikes. Walsh is breathing heavily. Moffitt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Walsh throws a nice looking combination but Moffitt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Moffitt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Moffitt wants to control from the top but Walsh keeps moving. Moffitt advances position into side control! Moffitt decides to stand back up.

Moffitt is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Moffitt turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Moffitt manages to end up in side control. Moffitt creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Walsh sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Walsh wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moffitt is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Moffitt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moffitt decides to stand up, so the ref orders Walsh to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big right from Moffitt misses. Moffitt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Walsh. Moffitt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moffitt is defended easily by Walsh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Moffitt dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
No luck for Moffitt with that takedown attempt. Moffitt fails with a takedown attempt. Walsh shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Moffitt defends it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moffitt throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

That's going to take a lot out of Alex Moffitt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walsh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Moffitt. Walsh misses the shot to the body. Moffitt is looking to clinch. Moffitt shoots in for a takedown but Walsh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Moffitt is looking to clinch but Walsh is avoiding it.
Walsh swats away the attempt to clinch by Moffitt. Moffitt fails with the takedown and Walsh counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walsh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Moffitt - the referee stops the clock and Walsh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Moffitt. Walsh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Moffitt staying out of range there. Moffitt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Walsh's head. Alex Moffitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walsh misses with a few strikes there.
Moffitt shoots in looking for a takedown but Walsh manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Moffitt's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Moffitt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walsh is fending him off so far but Moffitt persists. Nope, Walsh circles away and we're back to standing. Moffitt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Walsh looks to land a combination. Moffitt sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Walsh misses with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moffitt fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Moffitt shoots in for a double leg but Walsh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Walsh connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Moffitt tries to bum rush Walsh with a series of wild strikes but Walsh uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walsh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Moffitt has managed to clinch.
Moffitt has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walsh after a bit of a struggle. Moffitt can't break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh has Moffitt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Moffitt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Moffitt is looking for a takedown. Walsh gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moffitt.
Moffitt is pressed up against the cage. Walsh has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Moffitt down to the mat. Moffitt avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Moffitt dives in and grabs Walsh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Walsh pushes down on Moffitt's head and hops out. Walsh lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Moffitt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Moffitt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Walsh's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Moffitt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The fight moves into the clinch position. Walsh has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Moffitt after a bit of a struggle. Moffitt has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Walsh clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Moffitt tightening his grip on Walsh, looking for the choke. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Moffitt really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Walsh. Moffitt not allowing Walsh to control his hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Moffitt missing with strikes from the back. Moffitt is looking to control Walsh but Walsh is wriggling around and keeping busy. Moffitt lands strikes to the head. Moffitt is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Walsh with him. Walsh is trying to defend but Moffitt has an arm under the chin now! Walsh grimaces and is forced to tap out!
