Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Dawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goro Shigeno Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dusty Dawn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dusty Dawn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dusty Dawn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Goro Shigeno Honda! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shigeno Honda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. You can see the frustration on Dawn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shigeno Honda trying to control the action but Dawn is working from the bottom. Dawn wants to control but Shigeno Honda postures up. Dawn tries to escape but Shigeno Honda is in control. Dawn is trying to control Shigeno Honda's posture but Shigeno Honda avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawn is pushing Shigeno Honda's head away, looking to escape. Shigeno Honda manages to hold on to the position though. Shigeno Honda misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Shigeno Honda landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Dawn is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Dawn is looking to reverse the position. Dawn gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shigeno Honda is figuring out what he wants to do next. Shigeno Honda working over Dawn with some ground and pound. Dawn looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Shigeno Honda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dawn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Shigeno Honda is thwarting Dawn's attempts to control the position. Shigeno Honda trying to control the action but Dawn is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shigeno Honda is stalling here. Dawn is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Shigeno Honda seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dawn has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dawn tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Shigeno Honda is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dawn has just dragged him back down to the mat. Dawn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dawn tries to move to mount but Shigeno Honda blocks the move with his legs. Dawn tries for a kimura but Shigeno Honda is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dawn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dawn controls the position. Dawn in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Shigeno Honda is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
