Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fist Maloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darryl Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darryl Ray will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maloy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ray.
Ray throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maloy.
Ray paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ray throws a series of punches but Maloy moves out of range.
Maloy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Maloy lands in his opponent's guard.
Maloy is stalling in the full guard.
Ray is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Maloy is controlling him.

Ray tries to bum rush Maloy with a series of wild strikes but Maloy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Maloy drops back looking for a leg! Ray is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ray manages to kick Maloy off! Maloy jumps back into Ray's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Maloy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ray is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Maloy asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Fist Maloy will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

You get the feeling that Ray really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Ray lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ray.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maloy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
