Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kung Fu Fighting. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sam Benton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerry Cox! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Benton fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Benton lands a body punch in the clinch. Benton tightens his grip and picks Cox up, before dumping him to the ground. Cox manages to land in guard. Benton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cox swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cox avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Benton trying to control but Cox is working from the bottom. Benton passes Cox's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cox avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Benton. Benton moves into full mount! Cox won't be happy about that! Benton goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cox turns into him and now he's in Benton's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Benton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cox manages to get himself to full guard.
Cox looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cox preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Benton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Benton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Benton is pushing down on Cox's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cox is fighting to maintain full guard but Benton has managed to sneak the leg through. Benton wants to free his trapped foot but Cox is holding on for dear life with his legs. Benton is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Benton wants to pass to mount but Cox is defending the position. Cox trying to hold on to Benton's head to control him but Benton postures up.
Benton is trying to work for a kimura but Cox is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cox can do anything to dispel that myth. Benton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Cox trying to control here.
Cox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Benton thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cox's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benton works his way into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benton is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cox looks calm but he's in trouble here. Benton gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cox is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Benton lets go of the hold and Cox can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Sam Benton!
