The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the Luchador shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Welsh but Welsh pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Welsh gets caught flat footed, as the Luchador shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Welsh wants to sweep here but the Luchador controlling him for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and the Luchador counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Welsh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
the Luchador on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if the Luchador tries to get out of the position.
