Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell has chosen Deicide - Scars Of The Crucifix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steele was well out of range. Poor timing from Mitchell.
Steele walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Dan Steele has been cut.
Mitchell throws a sloppy body shot
and Steele counters with a solid body kick.
Mitchell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steele was well out of range. Poor timing from Mitchell.
Steele's corner calls for a 1-2. Steele obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Steele throws a hook but Mitchell blocks it.
Mitchell throws out a loose jab but Steele uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mitchell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steele throws a looping overhand right but Mitchell ducks down to avoid it.

and Steele counters with a nice body kick.

Mitchell lands with a straight right. Steele didn't see that one coming.
Steele wants to slow Mitchell down by chopping away at his legs.
Mitchell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steele throws out the jab.
Steele cracks Mitchell with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steele circles away quickly and effectively.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mitchell takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Mitchell lands with a good body shot.

Steele throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Steele buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Steele feints and then cracks Mitchell's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mitchell down.
Steele looks for the body kick but Mitchell saw that one coming.
Steele fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mitchell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mitchell walks forward, straight into a front kick from Steele.

A solid leg kick lands there for Steele.
Mitchell dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Mitchell throws a nice looking combination but Steele bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Steele here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Mitchell has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Steele.

Mitchell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Steele.

Steele has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

No joy there for Steele, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Steele slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Nice uppercut lands for Steele. That snapped Mitchell's head back.
Steele connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mitchell is rocked!
Steele throws an overhand right that drops Mitchell like a sack of potatoes! Steele dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

A less than humble Dan Steele misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
