Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Bondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Andolini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Andolini is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Bondo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Andolini!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andolini throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bondo's waist but Bondo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Andolini off to one side.
Andolini looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Andolini shoots in for a takedown but Bondo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bondo has closed the distance and engaged Andolini in a clinch.

Bondo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bondo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Andolini avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bondo manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Bondo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bondo tries to free his leg and advance position but Andolini is retaining full guard.
Bondo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bondo controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Andolini tries to keep at a distance but Bondo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bondo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bondo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Bondo stands up and beckons Andolini to join him on the feet.
Bondo tries to land a front kick but Andolini steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bondo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Andolini did well to prevent Bondo getting side control.
Bondo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Bondo wants to work for an arm triangle but Andolini is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bondo seems to be working for a kimura but Andolini defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Bondo decides to stand up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Andolini avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andolini postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bondo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Andolini, into his guard.
Bondo passes Andolini's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bondo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bondo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Bondo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Bondo mounts Andolini! Really nice guard pass there!

Bondo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Andolini for as long as he can get away with.

Bondo has isolated one of Andolini's arms. Andolini looking to fight him off but Bondo twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
