Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grayson Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnson Petunia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petunia tries to clinch but Turner is having none of it.

Turner shoots in but Petunia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Petunia wants to clinch up but Turner keeps it at a distance.

and Turner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Turner.
With the fighters up against the cage, Petunia throws an elbow but misses.

Turner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Turner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Petunia to the mat! Petunia manages to get full guard.
Petunia is wriggling around but Turner manages to pass to half guard.
Petunia is trying to stand up here but Turner is controlling him well.
Turner looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Turner decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petunia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Turner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Turner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Petunia to the ground. Turner is now in Petunia's guard.
Turner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Petunia wants to stand but Turner is controlling the position.

Turner is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Turner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Turner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Grayson Turner wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Petunia misses with an elbow strike.

Turner pulls Petunia into guard.
Petunia trying to stand up but can't free himself from Turner's guard.
Turner pulls Petunia in close to prevent any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Turner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Petunia manages to get himself to full guard.
Turner stops Petunia from standing up.

Turner wants to pass the guard but Petunia is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Petunia's head.
Turner prevents Petunia from getting back to his feet.
Turner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Grayson Turner.

Turner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Turner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Petunia, pushing him back against the cage.

Turner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Turner drives through with a takedown into Petunia's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Turner passes into half guard.
Turner is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Petunia on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Turner prevents Petunia from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Turner in particular looking to stall.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Petunia is not content to let Turner control the position.
Petunia is trying to stand up here but Turner is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turner has taken the fight to the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Turner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Petunia wants to get back to his feet but Turner drags him back down.

Turner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Petunia keeps working.
