Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Cady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wong comes to the cage accompanied by Legend of the USS Titanic. Max Cady has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Edward Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Cady! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong looks to throw the jab but Cady is out of range. Cady uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wong. Wong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cady but Cady pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cady misses with a straight left. Cady with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wong to score with a decent uppercut. Wong moves out of range as Cady strikes. No joy there for Cady, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cady. Wong slips a jab from Cady. Wong throws a hook but Cady blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cady avoids it really well and circles away. Wong displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Max Cady is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Wong!
Wong throws out a loose jab but Cady uses good head movement to avoid it. Wong looks to land a right hand but Cady moved out of range. Wong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edward Wong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wong misses with an uppercut. Cady saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong lands a jab to Cady's midsection. Wong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wong tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wong has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wong sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cady is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cady is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wong has just dragged him back down to the mat. Wong tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wong has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cady keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wong misses with the ground and pound. Cady struggling a bit here. Wong creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Wong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Wong is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cady is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wong is working Cady over with some ground and pound from side control. Cady holding on. Cady tries to buck Wong off but Wong is having none of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wong trying to control the action but Cady is working from the bottom. Wong working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edward Wong dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Cady takes a swing at Wong's ribcage but misses. Wong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cady manages to avoid it. Nice jab there from Wong. Wong throws a lazy uppercut
and Cady counters with a right hand to the body. Nice defenses there by Cady. Wong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wong fails to land the takedown. Wong moves out of range as Cady strikes. Wong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong is looking to take a break and control but Cady is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wong tries for a kimura but Cady is defending well. Cady is trying to control Wong's posture but Wong avoids it. Wong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cady, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cady keeps working. Wong looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Cady is avoiding damage well.
Wong is trying to get an arm triangle but Cady is defending well. Cady sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Wong in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Cady tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wong!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Edward Wong! As Edward Wong got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Fuckin way she goes'.
